The Next Riddim To Create a Stir In The Dancehall World

So Bad Riddim (October 2011)

The freshest mixtape soon to take over the dancehall world.
So Bad Riddim is my next prediction to create a huge ripple in the dancehall industry.  The bass driven riddim is up-beat and instantly catchy with some of today’s leading artists in the game.  ‘We Never Fear Dem’ by Vybz Kartel featuring Popcaan will be an instant club banger for the Gaza fans and dancehall enthusiasts.   Popcaan’s ‘So Bad,’ ‘Cah Bad Mi Up’ by Shawn Storm and new comer Tommy Lee with ‘Some Bwoy’ will all be radio-raped by broadcast DJs in the upcoming months, guaranteed! Jump off the bandwagon and take a listen to these big tunes before they reach mainstream airwaves.

Cover + Drive Equals Talent

Cover Drive is the new emerging band from the land of sea and sun also known as Barbados! The members are Amanda Reifer vocalist, T. Ray Armstrong drummer, Jamar Harding bassist and Barry Hill the guitarist.

They quickly gained popularity through their fedora sessions on youtube in which they sang their renditions of popular songs, which includes Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, Train’s Hey Soul Sister and Jessie J’s Do It Like A Dude amongst others. The youtube videos allowed us (the viewers) to enjoy their fun personalities and witness the versatility of this truly addictive band. Aside from their indescribable talent, the group is vibrant, playful and slightly crazy but they gel well as a group.

The band is now signed to UK recording company Geffen/Polydor Records and is said to be working with some great producers and song writers.  Mark my words, this band will exceed your expectations and I genuinely believe if they retain the originality that gained them popularity, they won’t be just another band but a meaningful one.
